Made this last Christmas for a six-year old. She loved it!
Wow! It’s been a three years since I’ve posted anything on this blog. I’m going to schedule a few posts to show the pics of projects that I have waiting in my media library. I haven’t crocheted much in the past year. I’m too distracted. Can’t stay focused or interested long enough to complete anything. Does anyone else go through spurts like this? I’m assuming I’ll pick it back up sometime. I’d better. I have too much yarn waiting!
I love this! I’m sure I don’t remember the pattern I started with, but I’m sure I didn’t finish with it. That’s normal M.O. It turned out adorably, though. I’ll eventually try it again to see if I can get the same result.
This is the first baby set I’ve sold! The hat was a breeze and turned out super cute! The booties and sandals were challenging, but I conquered and sold them to a friend.
Booties are sooooo difficult for me! I can follow the same exact pattern, but they turn out different sizes. Getting a pair to look like a pair rarely turns out. Any suggestions?
These ended up being close enough. I sold these, some sandals, and a hat to a friend of mine.
My first pot holder! I was down to only one pot holder in my kitchen. Though I’m not exactly an amazing chef, or anywhere close to that, I do tend to burn myself–a lot–when I actually attempt to make something edible. So, I realized I could make one.
Again, I didn’t use any pattern. Just used half double crochet stitches, single crochet for the little loop, and slip stitched around the edges. Oh, I did the multicolored side, then just switched yarn and made the back side. So, I folded it together at the “seam” between the two yarns and single crocheted around the three remaining sides, then slip stitched around them. Badda Bing!
Here’s another phone cozie made from a pair of jeans and some single crochet and double crochet stitches. Oh, and a cute button!
